104 Blogs into Wonderland

Before Alice got to wonderland she had to fall.

As I find myself in front of my trusty steed (my laptop) I can’t believe this is my 104th blog. Some might wonder why I care about this one more than the 100th? This is one of my favorite wins—this blog symbolizes two years of blogging every week. Two years of putting my life out there and challenging myself constantly to practice 100% responsibility. Most importantly it symbolizes two years of an intention met and two years of writing to look back and see growth.

What I find so interesting is how minimal two years is in the bigger picture that is a lifetime but at the same time how much occurs over the span of 730 days.

I can’t help but think about the girl that asked Christopher if she could use his platform to journal her fall into wonderland.

She was so unknowingly powerful. I began to write this blog as a letter to her, but let’s be honest, I can’t travel through time and the biggest message I would have been able to offer would be this: “Don’t change a thing. Don’t worry about the pain and the hard times. They all serve you and are exactly what you wanted and needed to get you to where you are today—truly happy, powerful and living at choice.”

Rather than writing to the girl I was, I want instead to write a declaration—an intention for the woman I am today to continue to work towards.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned through this whole journey and exploration in wonderland is how powerful attraction can truly be. (A blog is in the works to capture the breadth of this.) So why not put out into the universe exactly what I want to receive?

Dear universe and the oh so powerful me,

I write that sentence and almost immediately get nerves in the pit of my stomach that someone may interpret that with a negative filter. Well, writing that last sentence clearly tells me I still struggle with evaluation and focus too much on how others might take it or think of me.

So I won’t defend it—I AM powerful and will only continue to become more powerful the more I learn and harness my personal responsibility, freedom, and choice and the more I let go of evaluation!

Ok lets try that again (minus the evaluation)…

Dear universe and the oh so powerful me,

You are perfect. The things you constantly judge yourself for and evaluate against are only imperfect filters, not real imperfections in who you are. The voice in your head as you write this that is questioning if that statement is true—don’t listen to it. You are perfect.

When you embrace that fully just as you have embraced choice you will be 100% free as well as 100% responsible living a life 100% at choice.

Life is great now and will only continue to get better as you forge ahead in your career. You will publish the books that are literally waiting to be born at your fingertips. You will continue to write transparently every week about who you are, where you go and what leadership as a choice really means. You can and will awaken people who are willing to wake up. When they choose it, be ready to stand by them, to arm them with the right tools to make the changes they want in their lives. Be patient and practice allowing people to be who they are.

Life is allowed to be great. Stop wasting energy on being afraid that things are ‘too good’. Life is great not because you are blessed or lucky, but because you created exactly what you wanted. You WILL attract turmoil if you are more worried about what shoe is waiting to drop than if you are focused on enjoying the peace and love you have currently.

If you constantly remember that you have conquered all that you have faced so far there is no need to worry. You will conquer all that you will face going forward. You are equipped with the tools and knowledge to respond from a place of awareness, make a choice, and accept the consequences to those choices.

Listen to your gut and watch your actions. They will indicate as clearly as possible where your priorities are. Embrace them and see them through to the end. When you force yourself to do something that is out of alignment with what you want from life, you spend more time fighting than you do anything else.

Above all, always remember you are limitless because you choose to be limitless.

Love,
Yourself

104 blogs later and even though the words won’t stop flowing and the blogs won’t stop posting, it feels so right to pause and appreciate all those that take a few minutes to read these. So many have shown so much support and love to me and my journey. You inspire me to keep going just by reading the blogs. This community of practitioners, coaches, and mentors is one like no other—I truly would not be the woman I am today without it.

Wherever you are today in your journey to or through wonderland, remember that you aren’t in it alone. You are stronger and more capable than you allow. Most importantly, through the ups and downs that come with facing yourself and practicing 100% responsibility, trust that you are perfect.

Take off the negative, flawed and damaged lenses and face yourself again clear and perfect. When others judge, comment, or evaluate you or your journey keep in mind that they just haven’t taken off those glasses yet—that’s okay, you have!

You are perfect!
