I Am – Leadership is a Choice #23

Monument Valley and waldviertler
Jessica Soroky continues her series Leadership is a Choice.

I believe choice occurs before ownership of self. I have begun to harness my ability to choose and therefore harness my ability to own my reality and own me.

I choose to own who I am.

I set, at the the beginning of this series, the intention to be more raw than ever. I decided to expose all of me to anyone willing to read this, to truly show my journey to choice, to share my failures, wins, and everything in between.

Here I am, no justifications… no shame… just me, all of me.

I am blunt.

I am judgmental.

I am sensitive.

I am open hearted.

I am family centered.

I am loud.

I am a smart-ass.

I am caring.

I am sarcastic.

I am impatient.

I am selfish.

I am selfless.

I am driven.

I am stubborn.

I am intelligent.

I am determined to push the boundaries of the ordinary.

I am free.

I am limitless.

I am confident.

I am brass.

I am foul mouthed.

I am damn good at what I do.

I am a control freak.

I am a hopeless romantic.

I am constantly inspired by the beauty of this world.

I am kind.

I am moody.

I am giving.

I am a leader.

I am an over thinker.

I am focused on improvements always, in all ways.

I am powerful and at choice.

Each of those statements are my truths, some I like more than others and some I used to attempt to hide. Now they are all the same. They are not good or bad. They are the puzzle pieces that constantly change and morph, but assemble to create me.

AHHHHHHHHH! I feel so free I could scream, so unashamed of exactly who I am.

Here I am no justifications…no shame…just me, all of me.

Who are you?
