The first October eTips went out last week. Subscribers received it 13 October. And it's already been posted in blogs elsewhere. I'm home from Washington DC and off again to San Francisco. I completed Missions 28, 29, & 30 for 2007 while in Washington DC, and will complete Mission 31 in San Francisco this week. I decided this year to begin thinking of each opportunity to speak and teach about the Responsibility Process™ as a separate mission whether it is a...

I'm in Washington DC now for the Agile2007 conference all this week. I'm presenting tomorrow (Monday) and Thursday, supporting a couple of ongoing research projects all week long, and attending a board meeting Friday and Saturday before flying home. I'm sure there will be plenty of reunions, dinners, lunches, and a beer or two with old and new friends. I'll...

I just finished teaching Knowledge Team Leadership to a very appreciative audience from Stockholm and Gothenburg. Here's a picture of the class doing a final flip chart review—an exercise where student becomes teacher and reviews all of the material from the course with a partner in about 10 minutes. I am in the countryside outside of Stockholm at a beautiful conference facility teaching Knowledge Team Leadership. I've discovered two important things about the Swedish people. First, like the Hispanic people with whom I work in Mexico, Swedes do not have distinct words for accountability and responsibility as I use those words in the English language. Secondly, consensus is a...

We'll be contacting colleagues in Europe who have asked to know when I come that way, but we may not get them all, so hopefully others can read about...
