“So much happier in my life”…

After reading your book, Teamwork Is An Individual Skill, I knew I wanted to learn more about The Responsibility Process™. I found Global Educators Academy and decided to attend.

I was pleasantly surprised as I thought this would be a class on how to teach TEAMWORK to the teams I was coaching, but soon realized it was a class for ME and the changes I needed to make. This class helped change not only my professional life, but also my personal life. It came at just the right time in my life.

For my family life, I found it helpful in dealing with my two grown boys. Both are wonderful children, but at times I was upset about how things were happening with one or both of them. I learned in class that I was able to control my RESPONSE-ABILITY in our relationships.

This is a very freeing feeling. My relationships with my sons have never been better. Thank you for waking me up for this.

In my professional life, I have seen such big changes for myself. I know I spend some time in most of the “islands” (as you describe them), but the island of “Shame” has my name all over it. It was so helpful to learn that when I act out of Shame I am not taking true responsibility. I was raised to believe that I was taking responsibility when I acted from this position. When I started learning to leave this island and move to Responsibility, I was so much happier in my life and found that things worked so much better.

My boss noticed this and I was promoted now twice since attending this course and have had an increase in salary of over 10%.

One of the other things that I loved about this course was that not only did you change my life, but you gave me tools to help others learn about The Responsibility Process ™. This has actually helped me to study the material on a regular basis and also keep myself reminded to live from a position of Responsibility.

You challenged us to teach in every opportunity we found. I have taken that challenge to heart and have found it invigorating when I have the opportunity to share this truly amazing material.
